Meet Madeline
I’ve been passionate about design for as long as I can remember, captivated as a kid by shows like House Hunters and Trading Spaces, and constantly redesigning my own room just for the fun of it. That passion never really left, even when life took me elsewhere first.
During COVID, working from home and moving in with my now husband made it impossible to ignore how deeply our surroundings shape our day to day life. Around that same time, I was a Chief of Staff in the tech world, work that taught me how to listen closely, manage complexity, and turn a big, messy ideas into a clear plan. The two created the perfect storm and it pushed me to go back to school and make it official.
What that means for you is creative, beautiful design supported by a process that is organized and transparent. I care as much about how your project runs as how it looks. You can expect clear communication, thoughtful planning, and a steady hand guiding each step.
As a Washington native, I’m inspired by the ease of West Coast living - cozy, layered spaces in the cooler seasons and indoor outdoor living in the warmer seasons. I love the feeling of walking through my front door and feeling at home in an elevated space designed for my family and I want you to feel that too.
I am formally trained from Heritage School of Interior Design, and that same Chief of Staff skill set still shapes how I work today, just pointed at floor plans instead of corporate projects. Most recently, I’ve worked hands on at a boutique Seattle design firm, deepening my understanding of materials, sourcing, styling, and the day to day realities of design projects of all shapes and sizes. Today, I work on a variety of design projects from renovations and new builds to furniture and styling and design consultations in between.
I cannot wait to transform your space together!
With love,
Madeline
