Powder Bath Charleston Project
This powder bath renovation in a historic Charleston Tudor was designed for a creatively driven couple , a luxury hospitality creative director and artist, and a craft cocktail consultant and writer, who share a deep appreciation for art, design, and storytelling. They envisioned a space that reflected their vibrant, eclectic lifestyle and love for boutique hotels, vintage charm, and unexpected design moments.
The goal was to make a bold statement while honoring the home's architectural roots, resulting in a richly layered room that feels both timeless and creatively unexpected. Drawing inspiration from moody cocktail lounges and the distinctive elegance of Southern design, the space balances historic character with contemporary sophistication.
Deep, saturated hues set a dramatic tone, classic wainscoting adds structure and tradition, whimsical wallpaper brings a playful twist, and brass accents introduce warmth and polish. The result is a jewel-box powder room full of contrast, charisma, and expressive detail - where every element tells a story and the design feels as curated as it is unforgettable.
